The trip from Pennsylvania to Arizona took us many, many, many hours and included 3 storms. Why can’t we get good weather on the road?

Oklahoma was a new state for us, and we aren’t in any hurry to go back. Everything was going so well until we ended on the toll road that bypasses Oklahoma City. What kind of place has a toll road that requires exact change, coins only, and doesn’t have any way to get change? It didn’t even warn us before we got on – or even before we got into the toll chute.

Bad Oklahoma.

And speaking of bad, Texas isn’t a kind state. I have my own opinions of Texans, but for more than 200 miles across I-40 Texas provides no restrooms. They give you picnic areas, but no place to relieve yourself of what you consumed at the picnic areas.
