When flying from Pittsburgh to Austin recently I discovered that I forgot to pack a book. An emergency trip to a book seller in the Pittsburgh International Airport I found Clive Cussler’s The Navigator.

Cussler still can’t write dialog to save his life (he is much better than his 70’s and 80’s Dirk Pitt novels) the book was the usual fun romp across the world. I enjoy Cussler’s novels because they’re typically pretty light and always action-packed. They are pretty much all good summer reading.
