I’m not done with the series yet, but I am enjoying Eoin Colfer’s Artemis Fowl series. I know they’re kids’ books but so are the Harry Potter books and I am pretty sure that the Belgariad by David Eddings is as well. The Ranger's Apprentice series is definitely aimed at the younger crowd but they books are pretty good and they make great summer reading.

Hey, I like light reading.

Of course I sometimes have to break up my summer reading with something less funny and light so last week I listened my way through The Reliquary by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. It is the sequel to The Relic and I don’t think that it is quite as good. It was an enjoyable listen and cleansed my palate so that I can get back to an Artemis Fowl book.

I really wish that Audible had the Repairman Jack series.
