We certainly didn’t need another dog. Hera is a great dog and aside from some minor craziness she has been a joy to have with us. Hera Seeing how much she loves being with other dogs we thought that a packmate would be good for her.

With that in mind we went out to find a puppy. We found some great looking puppies using PetFinder and spoke with someone at a local no-kill shelter and they confirmed that they would have some puppies at our local Petco.

All fine so far…

Then we got to Petco and walked past all of the shelter’s adult dogs. Hera was an adult when we adopted her and we’d actually be out looking for a puppy. I think we were both determined to actually come home with a puppy this time.

We hadn’t counted on meeting Domino.

So, we’d decided to take Domino home, but what about our plans for a puppy? Well, how could we not bring this one home?

So, yes we now have 3 black and white dogs.
