We currently have 3 dogs. We used to have 1 dog. We went to get a second and came home with a second and third. That sort of thing can happen.

Walking 2 dogs of leashes is easy. Walking 3 is not. Very not.

During a visit to one of those pet megastores I was looking for a new leash (we only had 1 and now need 3, you see) when I came across a leash splitter. It is a very simple device that seems to work pretty well. It has an O ring between 2 adjustable straps with clips. It allows you to use any leash and connect 2 dogs for your walk.

We found that it works best if there isn’t too much space for the dogs to get themselves tangled up. When we walk Hear and Domino together we make the straps as short as possible and don’t use the Gentle Leader on either of them. I expect that Cesar would have a different idea, but it works for us.
